Church in North London!

So today we got to attend church for the first time in London! It took about an hour and a half to get there. We had to walk to the tube station, change trains once, take a bus, and then walk to the chapel. It's a bit of a trek but it's totally worth it. The ward is tiny! There are probably only like 60 people. The other girls and I were assigned to the primary. The children are a little crazy and don't like to sit still but you can tell that they are learning a lot and growing in the gospel. They're so sweet and beautiful and I love them already! We're already scheduled to talk in sacrament meeting and do two musical numbers. I'm so excited! I'm nervous about speaking because I hate talking in front of people but it only has to be like 5 minutes so I think I'll survive :) I'm also teaching the children a new song during singing time and teaching the junior primary class next week. I love getting to know and working with the kids here. It really is amazing how strong this little ward is and how grounded their testimonies are. I can't wait to hear them bare their testimonies next week on fast Sunday. The 1st counselor in the Bishopric and his wife, the Primary president, invited us over for dinner tonight, too! So we went over to their house and had a lovely time getting to know their family. And the food was delicious! It was great to have some real food because at the moment we are all living off peanut butter and nutella sandwiches and digestives (delicious English graham cracker, cookie, chocolate things). Then I was able to skype with my family! It was great to see them and talk to them! Tomorrow we are going to the British Library and hopefully seeing Platform 9 and 3/4 on the way. Then on Tuesday we are going to see Matilda The Musical which should be interesting. Well, until then... Cheers!
