Markets, Hay Fever, and Crepes

Last night we had planned to get up early this morning and head over to Borough Market around 9am but all of us were so tired from these first few days that we ended up sleeping in. I still haven't gotten used to the fact that I'm going to be here for more than a week or two. I keep feeling like I need to try and see everything as soon as possible because I don't want to run out of time. I'm so used to only having a few days but I'm sure it will hit me in a few days. Anyways, we didn't end up leaving for the market until like 11 but we still had plenty of time to walk around and familiarize ourselves with the market. It was really busy but so much fun! We tasted so many things and they were all delicious! I'm definitely going back there as often as I can :) This guy at the dried fruit stand though was kind of strange. I asked to sample the dried strawberries and he kept kissing at me. It was very strange and I've decided I'm not going to talk anymore because as soon as guys find out I'm American crazy things happen. I'm worried about going to Rome because we've already had an interesting encounter with an Italian man. I might pretend I'm Canadian or maybe even try to pull off an English accent while I'm there.

Then we walked over the London Bridge so we could say that we did. And we sang Fergie's "London Bridge" while we were on it because in the music video they show the Tower Bridge, which is wrong. We had to sing the song on the right bridge to show up Fergie. Haha, it was pretty funny and we recorded it so a video will be up on facebook soon :)

Then we took the tube down to Leicester Square and walked to the Noel Coward Theatre to see Hay Fever. It was amazing and soooooo funny! Now that I understand British language and I'm becoming familiar with their vernacular the play made a lot more sense and I understood a lot more of the jokes. The acting was phenomenal as usual! The theater here in general is just amazing! All of the actors and actresses have been so well cast and better than any I've seen, even on Broadway.

After the play we were going to try and get tickets for Sweeney Todd but some other people in our group got tickets earlier and the people at the ticket office told them they had gotten some of the last tickets. So we are going to try and get tickets for it on a night during the week when not as many people will be trying to see it.

After that we came home and ate some dinner. Then we headed over to the Cremerie Crepery and ate some crepes! They were delicious! But our waitress was very rude and my order was messed up so I had to wait forever for my crepe. And it was cold by the time I got it but it was still really yummy :) Tomorrow is my first Sunday in my new ward and I can't wait! Even though it will take me over an hour to get there I'm still really excited to meet everyone :)
