V and A Museum and Matilda the Musical!

Today we decided to take it kind of slow because of all the walking we did yesterday. We calculated it and we walked for about 5 hours yesterday! My feet are so sore! So we slept in this morning and went down to West End to ask the box office at the Queen's Theatre about Les Mis tickets. We're going to try and get student rush tickets on Thursday and I'm so excited!!! It's my favorite musical in the entire world and I can't wait to finally see it! Anyways, then we headed over to the Victoria and Albert Museum. We wandered around for about an hour but we got tired after that. Haha, I felt like such a wimp! The museum was kind of strange at some points but a lot of it was really interesting. My favorite exhibit was the jewelry though. There were so many bracelets, necklaces, rings, tiaras, and earings from British history. There was this huge tiara with flowers and diamonds all over it. It was beautiful and sparkly and I wanted to put it on so bad! Haha, it was so cool! After the museum we headed back to the flat for some dinner and to finish our reviews of Hay Fever. Then we headed out to the Cambridge Theatre to see Matilda the Musical! I loved it! The set was decorated with big scrabble letters and there were words spelled out with them. Set pieces like the kids desks came up out of the floor which was really cool! The music was surprisingly not that bad despite the fact that a lot of them were only fragments of songs. The children were amazing! Their voices were beautiful and they were all so adorable! The choreography was phenomenal! Overall the performance was very entertaining and visually stimulating but there was a lot of overacting and some flaws in the production. And Ms. Trunchbull was played by a man. It was very strange. She wasn't very scary which is what I was expecting so that was kind of weird but overall I really enjoyed the musical. When the musical was over we wandered around Leicester Square and found some pizza and gelato for dinner. It was really yummy! I don't think I've tasted anything here that hasn't been yummy. I really love London :)

I saw these and thought of Anita! They're mustache pins!

 This room was beautiful!

I really don't think you would fit through the door with this on.

He was singing "Your Song" so we had to go listen for a second :)
